29th April 2015 - 6:30pm to 9:30pm - Manchester Cathedral

A Simple Way to Connect your high performing employees with local causes to create mutual benefits

To celebrate the launch of Resonate Connect we are bringing together the Manchester business community working in partnership with Manchester Cathedral. Resonate Connect exists to champion the potential of employees who would like to share their skills for the greater good, and to bring their experiences back into the workplace, creating a cycle of benefits for employers, employees and the community.

Keynote Speaker

Sir Howard Bernstein
Chief Executive of Manchester City Council

Resonate Connect offers Manchester businesses a simple, professionally managed way for your employees to use their talents in the wider community where they can be matched with local charities who will value their skills and develop them as individuals.

We will provide a visual demonstration of the site, showing the audience how to sign up as a Volunteer, Researcher or Volunteer Manager. Alex Whinnom, the Chief Executive of the Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisations will also be speaking.

The speeches will be short, enabling you to network with other business owners who see that corporate responsibility is good for business and high performing employees.

The event will also showcase the 5 Good Causes to whom Resonate provide cash donations and pro bono support. Each of the 5 Good Causes enable companies to undertake ethical activity at no cost to their business.

The event is being catered by Harvey Nichols and will include a full, free bar.

The hashtag for the event is #EthicalManchester
